well in my qwest to quiet some lifters i noticed a piece of head gasket sticking out of pass middle cyl.
removed the engine and found the 9441pt gasket completely blown out and just the fire ring left for the middle cyl. drivers side looks fine.
motor has head studs. drivers middle looked like it might have been on the way out also.
all the plugs looked fine except pass middle, had a little detonation(grey) look to it.
engine seemed to run fine and all the lifters looked good. no coolant in the oil.
good oil press, ect.
i got a little to greedy with the boost and some vac lines blew off about a few weeks ago. i got an insane amount of knock on the scanmaster and the caspers gauge went red also few times.
wideband also showed lean when the lines came off.
well looks like i have my work cutout for me.
do you think the fel pro 9441pt will be ok as long as i take it easy on the engine and learn to tune it better?
