My car keeps blowing the ignition module fuse. It's a 10 amp fuse for the module. I tried a 15 amp fuse and it popped that too. It only does it under hard acceleration. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

Its not a good idea to go to a bigger fuse, if the fuse is blowing then you might have a problem with the ignition module, try to swap it out with someone else good ignition module/coil.

I had a brand new (2 month old) coil short out

It was on my G/Fs car, 2.8 Chevy Corsica. Kept intermittently blowing fuses. I tracing the wiring a dozen times, no shorts when cold, and I never got to check it hot, or right after a fuse blew. I finally put a 5 amp higher circuit breaker in place of the fuse, and it would pop now and then, but start right back up. Then finally the module went out, and I was able to nail it down to that da** new coil.
