Saw them on BMR's site for a reaaalll good price. I don't see too many people using them? Why? Any pros cons to using them maybe I should be aware of before I buy?
Thanks Turbo Buick. Com

I *ALMOST* bought some for my Cutlass a few years ago when I was on the G-body.org List, when they FIRST made them, and there was a Group Purchase.......I haven't heard of anyone BREAKING them, but I'm glad I didn't get them, because I wouldn't have gotten my newest purchase, I just picked up the Edelbrock Adjustable Uppers, and what a WORK OF ART they are.

I just installed a set of BMR tubular lowers a few days ago. They really tighted up the feel on my car. But of course the rubber bushing in the original arms were shot.

Do not bother to spend the extra $14.95 for the 'Installation Hardware'. All you get is four bolts and lock-nuts, and they are only grade 8.8. I re-used the stock bolts 'cause they are grade 10.9.

One other issue I had is the bolt holes for the sway bar are larger than on the original arms. I temporarily bolted the sway bar back on with the original bolts. But to fix this I am going to drill the sway bar out to the same size and get bigger bolts.

I used the HRPARTSNSTUFF uppers and lowers. I have no personal experience the BMR's. I do however recommend the HRPARTSNSTUFF ones as they look good, bolt in and come with all needed hardware. Customer service is excellent and did I say they look real good. I like the black as it matches the car. Go to www.hrpartsnstuff.com and check them out. I will not use any others on the cars I work on. TBuicks or not.

I bought a set of BMRs just because they are the lowest price and the parts are top notch quality and are easy to adjust. They look just like every other set out there so theres not much to say about any problems I have had. On the lower arms I made a spacer from some 5/16 ID conduit I had laying around because I was to lazy to buy bigger bolts and they sway bar bolted on with no problems. Eric Fisher

I have the BMR tubular rear lowers with rubber bushings.

The prety much eliminated the wheel hop I had, other than that, I got them for $119 shipped via a GP over a year ago and they've held up great.

Next on the list is to clean up the stock uppers, powder coat them, and put some new 1le rubber bushings in them.

As per the engineer from Global West, he informed me the stock upper control arms are fine for all but the serious drag racer, but for street or autox, just replace the stock bushings with new ones and they're fine. The just locate the rear axle.

Thanks Guys

Thanks a lot guys, I saw these on the bmr site and compared them to others. The only other lca I saw that didn't break my pockets was postons and those were boxed lca's that ran 189.00. Which isn't a bad price definitely. But the upper lca's are the ones that were breaking the bank. The BMR's are the ones I am going to go with. However, I don't need to buy the upper lca's ? I was planning on it but I am not a serious racer. Just a street guy. Thanks Everyone Again Saves me a ton of a money.
