SignUp Now!If you want to leave off the sway bar, then you have no choice but to go with the stiffer springs. Or you can just stiffen up the rear suspension, big time, and get rid of the roll. Of course, you may end up with a lot of oversteer, but doesn't seem like you are really interested in best handling.Second I have no front sway bar,
No, it won't, not under real hard cornering. The car has to have some roll resistance. It can come from the springs or from sway bars. Either one will transfer weight from inside to outside, in response to cornering forces. If you stiffen one end too much, then too much of the weight transfer will take place at one end of the car. With a really stiff rear suspension, and soft front suspension, you can end up actually lifting the inside rear wheel. Somewhere around that point, the rear end will lose traction, and come around- sudden jump to oversteer, very hard to control. Especially on a car like the Regal, which is pretty front heavy, you'll start out with understeer, and then get sudden switch to oversteer. Not many drivers like that kind of handling.and i may be bass ackwards but i thought having the rear way stiffer than the front, suspension wise, would cause understeer.
