I have a cyberdyne digital dash and I want to verify the boost gauge. Is there some way of doing this without teeing in a mech gauge and driving 100mph.I was thinking about teeing in a mech gauge @ the map and putting about 15 # of compressed air to it and then reading the two gauges. As far as boost gauges go,are they just an air pressure gauge.I have a 4'' compound pressure gauge that measures from -15 to =15 lbs of pressure. It seems pretty acurate. Will this gauge work? Thanks , DAVE.

Yes, you can just rig a hose to a pressure source and T together a known good gauge and your MAP.

I would suggest using a line that has well regulated air also.

I have a T'able accurate 6" lab. gauge I use to calibrate all my other boost related electronics and make charts for my autometer gauges as to their accuracy. More accurate than the VDO's for sure.

Reads 1/4 lb. increments accurately, but well regulated and controllable air will help you greatly.

Some compressors have decent regulators on them, some don't.

I like the local in line one on my setup, it's easier to use than the one 50ft. away on the compressor. ;)
