boost Question

Howdy, when I kick in the turbo it jumps to 18 lbs. and I mean
jumps,then backs to 15 lbs. and stays there untill I let up, Motor
is brand new, what do you guys think is going on ?

Are you running a thrasher chip with stock boost control? if so thats normal, or thats what mine does anyway. It takes some pressure to overcome the wastegate spring.

I'm useing a 93 chip from poston,the turbo is stock, adj. W.G.

It is supposed to spike to its max for a second or two, then drop by a few psi.
