braided oil lines

can braided turbo oil feed and return lines like the ones from Johns Performance be installed witht he turbo on the car?

Yes they can....I did it.

They are a PITA to get on though. Very difficult to route because they are stiff and the ends do not swivel. Once you get them on, they look pretty trick though....

cool. thanks. i got this turbo off and its getting rebuilt tomorrow and i want braided lines but dont want to wait a week to put the turbo on. ill get the lines on. where there's a will there's a way. thansk again

Actually, the only one that is a PITA is the return line....

and that PITA process can be simplified by using studs on the turbo drain outlet at the turbo in conjunction with a pre-made stainless steel return line fron John's Performance...

I'll have to remember to stud my return the next time I have the turbo off the car....thanks for the tip Scott!
