Brake issue?

I have been hearing a clicking noise up under the dash and have felt a pulsation thru the brake pedal when braking the GN. It is steady and pulses about every 2 seconds. Now I'm starting to hear it when the car is not being braked. Does the Power Master motor do this? Anyone know what I need to check? I'd appreciate any info. Thanks.
