I had a similar problem a while back, and after process of elimination, it turned out to be a fuel problem. I was running waaaaay to rich.

So in saying this, after checking your spark plug gap, grounds, and what have you......

Turn your boost down to around stock to be safe, start taking a little fuel out at a time and see if you notice any diffrence after 4500 RPM, mine cleared up after adjusting the fuel pressure. Just a suggestion, and hope you find the problem soon....
