I love the Boost Commander. I decided to step up to a dual solenoid, but I am having difficulty with fine tuning it. Basically I can't get it right-on with 2 solenoids. I want ~22 lbs in 1st and 2nd, scale to ~ 21 in third.

Consider this scenario:

I have adjusted the WG arm such that when I use one solenoid and turn the bstc to max, I get 20 lbs, rock solid, all day long.

Now I add the 2nd solenoid, and adjust the BSTC to ~40%. This gives me ~ 24, and not consistant. If I adjust it a hair down, I get 20 lbs. And I mean A HAIR. I expected this setting to yield less than 20 lbs.

Anyone else experience this?

Are the any tricks you have done to adjust for the 2nd solenoid use?

I thought about the "y" connector and it's restriction. Has anyone tried using a standard "t"?

I would adjust the wastegate arm to give you the 22 or so psi. you want with a 3/4 to full on setting with the BSTC.

Adjust the scaling as necessary for 3rd gear after you get that set up.

It is easier to fine tune at a higher knob level I have found.

Also try to set the thing up to use only the dual solenoids or only a single solenoid as you have found the control range and adjustability isn't always optimum when just trying to unplug one solenoid and find a new range of boost tune.

Just what I have learned going to the duals.

My goal is to run 2 all the time, but I'm just experimenting since I can't get it dialed in right. I'm beginning to suspect my original solenoid because the used one I bought is "acting better" in a single solenoid setup. I had bad spike problems, and it alone doesn't seem to spike. I haven't had enough open pavement to be sure yet.

I'll keep tinkering.

Thanks.
