buick motorsport tach hook up

Hello, I have a buick motorsport tach I want to install in my GN. My tach question is this.. Should I tap into the cluster for the signal or go to the connector behind the alternator. I looked at it. It is the green connector with the two (looks like white wires). Please correct me if I am wrong about that.
Also does anyone have pics of this tach installed along with the recall key switch. Thanks...

Use the green plug behind the alt. with the 2 wires.

The reset key is mounted down by the ALDL port underneath the radio and I ran the wires between the dash pad and the instrument cluster pad.
