C16 tuning questions

what O2 number should I be shooting for on the SM?...I've 0.0 KR but it's at 760s in third. (fast update patch) I haven't hooked up the wideband yet...trying to not hog it up too much with the leaded fuel.

Why would octane affect A/F? Would you run leaner because the octane is higher? I don't think so.

that's what I was getting at...I didn't think so, but this the first time I've had race gas in the car. On pump gas I can't get below 790s w/o knock. I don't have any signs of knock at this point.

Yes, there's lean knock, and (lack of) octane knock. I'd consider them as more or less unrelated. In other words, don't expect race gas to save your azz if you're running too lean.

thanks for your help...so like the SM posts in the past have read...target between 750-770 and double check it against the WB for an afr around mid 11s. Right?
