I have found out that it is the cam sensor that is causing the skipping, by disconecting the cam sensor while the car is running, it ran awesome. However, i have put a new cam sensor on, but when connected it still skips, whats my next step?

maybe that means it isn't the cam sensor causing the problem......when the cam sensor is disconnected you are running in batch fire mode (meaning all injectors fire at the same time)

could be a bad injector?

Don't understand. If it's the coil pack why does it run great with the cam sensor unplugged?

well, maybe because the injector that is bad is delivering enough fuel to work in a batch fire mode

bottom line, if the car doesn't run right with the cam sensor plugged in, it could be the cam sensor (but you have a new one, right?) or a lot of other things not related to the cam sensor

just trying to help here, but apparently you are the expert

Good answer Woody, except for the last sentence. Totally uncalled for! R.B.
