Is this a growing trend or am I just getting old? This is the third or fourth time I've heard of parents buying their kids a car...
This didn't happen at my house. I didn't even get an allowance. When I asked for one I was told that I was allowed to live in the house, and eat my fathers food... And that If I wanted more I'd better get myself some employment...Been working ever since.
Now that I'm done ranting, I suppose if I had to give a kid their first car I'd go with NOVADERRIK's suggestion.. Maybe a late 70's mid 80's battle cruiser. (some sort of lincoln, or station wagon (with no back seats- barbed wire might not be a bad idea.
) and of course the obligatory wood paneling...
She'll get a job real fast...
