Car wont idle?? WTF?

So last night I was coming home and I heard something blow off under the hood, I get home and the tube from the throttle body to the intercooler blew off at the throttle body, so it was sucking air directly. So I put it back on today and go to start the car and it wont hold idle now and dies. Even if I rev it to hold it going once I stop revving the motor it just dies. Smells like its rich too? Any help would be great Thanx

didnt cut any wires going to the IAC motor that blow off may have unpluged it
just some simple thought

maybe you blew off more than one? One of mine barely blew off and I harldy noticed it..

Check that the TPS didn't move. It is pretty close to the tube and doesn't take much to pressure move.

Check to make sure that the intercooler hose has no holes in it sucking air anywhere. You also like stated above need to check to make sure that when hose blew off, it did not cut or disconnect anything, TPS harness ETC. Good Luck keep us posted.

Figured it out! I guess when the tube got blown off, the vacuum line to the pcv got popped off too so I had a vacuum leak I guess. It was just dangling there, with nothing going to the pcv, doh. Didnt notice it til now. Car runs like a champ now Thanx guys!
