About 2 weekends ago I was driving my car and I ran out of gas, the gas guage was off because the night before it was half tank. Well i went to the gas station put 4 gals in still no start. I got the car towed home only 10 miles and I hadnt worked on it till yesterday, I checked if i had fuel pressure and i do. Then i checked if i had spark by taking out a spark plug wire and puting the other end of a fender nut into it and letting it rest on the car no spark. What should i check and how should i check it please assist me as I need to sell my car Im in the BAY AREA california Car was runing fine before i ran out of gas PLEASE HELP

Maybe you didn't run out of gas, but had an electrical or mechanical failure. No start conditions are typically a jumped timing chain, a bad crank sensor or a bad MAF.

You can check the timing chain easiest by pulling a couple of plugs and checking compression, 140 and above is ok. The MAF is easiest to check by swapping in a known good unit (borrowed from a friend) and the crank sensor is about $30 from the parts store.

I am going to check the fuses but it may be the crank sensor
Your right i may not have ran out of gas but it sure seemed like it because my guage when i did was at empty and I was nearing the end of the tank for sure THE MAF and the coil pack have been changed out not too long ago by previous owner if you know someone in CA that wants a WE-4 for 2500 this weekend let me know Ill take a loss if they take my headache
