i hooked my car up to a tech 1 the other day and found out one of my cylinders is missing at idle, what could cause this? is it purley ignition? I havent had a chance to swap coil packs but i just did a tune up. just curious cause i also had my egr leaking and when i looked at the #3 injector it looked in bad shape but it was just the outside of it. car has 96,000 on the clock and just curious if a worn cam or something could have to do with this, i could post scanmaster numbers but all are in check

I had #3 fouling on me. Here's stupid question, have you ever cleaned out the black tar or black goop or whatever you want to call it from the fan relay plugs on the drivers side fender well?

Totally unproven to resolve this issue.

I've read where some owners recommend cleaning out the other fender well plgs as well.

I haven't gotten that far myself, but I think the drivers side made a difference for mine.

Good luck.
