caspers knock gauge shorted out??

Upon startup my Casper's knock gauge has always done like a random type self test. Now one of the lights always stays dimly lit and wont go out. Has anyone else had this happen? Is it time for a new gauge? Is there a way to test it or troubleshoot it?

You either have a bad gauge, or a bad connection to one of the three terminals on the back. Check your crimps, and make sure the gauge is seeing a full 12 volts with the key on.
