I bought the pioneer cd player/radio for my car and it sounds just fine/plenty of power and volume for average listening. however i like it a little on the loud side so i installed
a 300 watt jensen amp and a jensen tube style sub. i also installed pioneer 3.5's in dash and kicker 4x10's in rear deck and left the doors alone as they sound fine. the pioneer cd/radio offers rca outputs to run the amp directly. the amp in turn is used only to drive tthe sub mounted in trunk. the pioneer cd/radio is
Din and 1/2 sized unit and is made to fit gm and chrysler sized radio openings with nothing to cut. looks and sounds far better than the stock crap that was in the car. I don't care what intercooled 84 says! ha ha..... Just kidding. try it you'll like it.
