Im trying to install this thing right now and it seems that there are supposed to be 2 10mm studs coming out of the two top cylinder head holes which the 10mm X 45mm spacers thread on to, holding the bracket in place. The included button head bolts then go 1 through the alternator and into the threaded spacer and the other through a non threaded spacer and into the threaded spacer. Does this sound right or am i missing something. I looked at it for about an hour and came to the conclusion that there is no possible way to install this bracket without 10mm studs already installed in the cylinder heads. I wish champion could mention that in the directions rather then write them like they were included in the kit and previously installed in step 1/2. Thanks alot.

What you said is correct. I installed mine today in about 10-15 minutes.

First time I installed one, took me over an hour too!:D

Another tip, leave the alt bolts loose until you install the belt to provide more slack. The P/S adjustment alone is not enough for that.

the studs.........

were screwed into the spacer nuts, when I opened the package,
just took em out, and screwed em into the head,
took me about 45min to 1hr to install, but looking back at it, now... could do it again in 15-20 min,
hint....... 60510 belt is real snug, might want to use a 60512 belt.
good luck

Oh yea i forgot to mention, everything i have ever done to this car HASN'T gone smoothly. The bracket deffinitely did not come with studs. I like making trips to the hardware store which is what i'll be doing tomorrow to get some studs. Thanks alot for the belt #'s cruzn57. That would have made one more trip. haha. Thanks alot.

Ok. Next problem. The power steering flex line in hitting the alternator fan pretty bad. I might be able to tie wrap it out of the way onto the steering rack. Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks.

pressure or return line?

loosen the hose & rotate it,
and yes , you will probably have to zip tie it to something, try flexing
( bending) the hard line some, again, rotating it,
also try putting it behind the alt adjusting bolt hole.

hope that helps !
