I took everything apart this afternoon and am about to remove the turbo. I've read a lot about studs vs bolts and the theory sounds solid.

I am definitely converting the oil drain tube over to studs - what else should I consider doing while I've got it apart?

I'm mounting a John Craig TE-60, Terry Houston DP and new Turbo oil feed and drain hoses (SS braided).

What other sealants should I use? Loctite blue on some things has been mentioned as well as orange/copper RTV and even never seize, dependent upon the application.

Suggestions?

Thanks in advance!!!

Studs in the exhaust housing where the downpipe bolts into work great also.

8mm.

Easy to align without stripping the housing. Not that I've ever done that...
