charcoal cannister removal??

can i remove the charcoal cannister without any other problems? can i get a breakdown what needs to be done? pics always help DT :confused:
 
Yep. Just cap off the steel line that runs from the vacuum block. Leave the line that goes back to the gas tank uncapped. Some people put a tiny breather filter on it or run a length of hose under the wheel well to prevent fuel vapor/smell. The ECM will not throw a code when the solenoid is removed.
 
Someone may chime in here, but I chose to attach a length of fuel hose to the fuel tank vent line and routed it down under the car as I mentioned before. Works fine.
