charcoal cannister removal??

can i remove the charcoal cannister without any other problems? can i get a breakdown what needs to be done? pics always help DT

Yep. Just cap off the steel line that runs from the vacuum block. Leave the line that goes back to the gas tank uncapped. Some people put a tiny breather filter on it or run a length of hose under the wheel well to prevent fuel vapor/smell. The ECM will not throw a code when the solenoid is removed.

Someone may chime in here, but I chose to attach a length of fuel hose to the fuel tank vent line and routed it down under the car as I mentioned before. Works fine.
