Anybody know of a solution for CHEAP wheels to mount a pair of 28x9 m/t slicks on? Ugly or not isnt important but cheap is. :D

TIA: Jason

Sure, go to the wreckers and get a pair of 7" gn rims. Thats what I did. Should be a problem, they work for my 26" talls.

grab some 15x7 black steel rims from an older (80s) B body sedan at the yard. My friend got a set for 10 bucks with almost new snow tires and we had a good time smoking them off.

whats a "B" body? These will be for my nephews car. He is on a real tight budget for about another 18 months. (he's in a training program now). The $10 wheels would be just the ticket for him.

Thanks: Jason

I use some wheels that I got from Discount Tire...they are chrome plated wagon wheels...think they were $36 a piece...I have 28x9 ET drags mounted on them...think the wheels are 15x8 with 3.5" backspacing...

caprices mostly, maybe a pontiac pariseinne or an olds delta. A big GM car.

i vote for american racing wheels outlaw 2 rims. you would want 15x8 with 3 3/4 bs. at least they are cheap($85 each) and lighter than steel.

I'm using american racing 15x8x4 BS, part no 767-5861. They fit my 28x11.5x15 et streets great and priced good aswell.

:) :)

Why not keep it all Turbo Buick?

Those wheels from the 84/85 T Types normally go dirt cheap. I'll bet there is someone out there with a set looking for a home. They are 15 by 7 with 3.5 BS and should look right at home.

I got a pair of circle track lightweight steel wheels 15 x 8 for $35 each. i have hoosier QTPs 27 x 10.5 on them (really a 9" wide tire). They feel as light as the used aluminum wheels I looked at for $75 each.
