2nd the F body, you can find it locally around $120, lifetime warranty and it weighs only 10lbs unlike the 26lb stocker.

I also wondered about the universal Summit and Jegs rads, I bet they would fit also.

F-body radiator.

I paid 85 bucks brand new--with my buddies employee discount at Napa. That reminds me I need to pay him before he sends out the collector  .

Is the replacement radiator for the F-Body that is available in the aftermarket all aluminum and an exact replacement in every way ?

anybody that sells northern rads. mine was 130 and it might be a knockoff of griffin or be cool, but yah thee is no drain and do oil/trans coolsers on it. i have external coolers on mine.

sounds like a winner to me!!!! thanks guys :)

Make sure you check your CHEAP f-body radiator for squareness before you install it. I went through 4 of them before I went with a re-cored stocker.

I had no problem with conversion to F-body radiator. Some folks eliminate the oil cooler, but I just got a B&M supercooler and had a local place make stainless braided lines (for that racy look). Works great.

I also use the F-body aluminum (plastic tank) radiator. I modify the rad to work with a oil/trans cooler. I use the left side radiator tank with oil cooler from a 91-96 buick park ave .install it on the F-body aluminum radiator. I was luck to fine a park ave (supercharge)with rad in the yard. all you need is oil cooler tank, by peeling back the aluminums (a few) tabs on the radiator . The tank will separate. use some silcone when installing the oil cooler tank with the F-body silcone (form) gasket. It`s working like a charm for me. now i run a oil and trans cooler in the f-body radiator (aluminum). i also install a external 24,000 GVW trans cooler in conjuntion with the rad cooler.

Summit

I vote summit I have the 31" one fit's like a glove also added the double fans temps drop like 25deg doesn't have the drain or a cooler but looks good and work great. $165

If you like to drive your car at 165 degrees with the air on and in stop and go traffic get the one from summit.I like the fit work's great.

That is great that the Summit one works well. For the money it is worth it.

Just to be sure, is this the correct part number ? :
