Finally got a scanmaster, so I started trying to get a good tune going. Set the IAC, TPS filled up the alky and took the T out. Ran it around pretty good and all the numbers looked good. I made a ard launch and after shifting into second the car revved up but went nowhere. Thought crap more tranny probs. Noticed a sound like a exhaust leak which got louder and louder. It sounds like it is coming from the middle of the motor. It's not louder on the top of the motor than from underneath. Whatever it is it registers 15+ knock barely rolling. Do you think it is rod nock or could it that a rocker broke and the valve train is making the noise. I plan on pulling the valve covers and intake later today.
Any thoughts as to what it might be.
