Anybody have any neat way to install a cupholder that looks factory? One of my biggest gripes on my '87 GN is that there isn't a cupholder. It is too easy to spill a drink. So...... I need some ideas how to install one that looks like it is supposed to be there.......

No drinks or barely food in the car. Drinks i usaully only like bottled drinks and food, if it's nothen sloppy or we're sitting.

That is the first thing my wife said when I took her for a ride...no cup holder  It seems to me I ran across something out there that you could install to hold cups but can't remember. It's not on my top things to do...got a sick gear box :frown:

Isn't that what the wife is for? to hold your drink? if she gives you any mouth about it, just tell her it'd be wise to not force you to make a choice between her or the car. :D
definetly has to be a bottle or a lid on it for my cars. I just open the console and sit it in there. (the consoles useless as a armrest anyways).

I tried to put my coffee in the console but as soon as the boost comes on the coffee spills inside  (even with a lid on the cup)

lol. Happened to me too. I just always make sure I have napkins laying in the bottom of the console and something (cd's, phone, wallet) that keeps it wedged up to the back of the console.

Thats sound about right but It's actually the wife that wants the cup holder for her self lol I always use lided drinks and I simply throw'em in the passegener seat. Since I pretty much only drink water, it doesn't get shook up as bad when I hit the breaks

Here's mine that's been in the car about 17 years.

It's not factory looking either. :frown:

Function over form I always say. ;)

Vent can be turned to heat or A/C to keep the drink at proper temps. :p

Two small screws into the side of the A/C vent hold it in there without messing up the dash, well I haven't ever looked much at it to see if it has messed it up really.

Folds downwards to make a base and inside are two round adjustable holders for the middle/top of the drink.

Works fine for cans, bottles, dunkin donuts, typical soft drinks in paper cups, won't work for over/super size cups and big gulps.

Red Regal Seats

Wow, red regal, I really like the seats, too- since mine is a daily driver I guess I don't have to worry about it being stock. Are they park Avenue seats? did you have to do a lot of work to get them to fit? Did your car come with power seats or did you have to add them and how much work is that?
