code 13

guy's and gals,,i was working on my down pipe and slipped , and just bumped the handle of the wrench on the+ batt. cable so code 13 has poped up? well, could be a 02 but, i think i mite have zaped an ecm or e-prom ,, car still runs good but the engine light comes and goes. and yes i know always cut the batt. :redface: any input Thanks Terry

Try disconnecting the red wire by the battery for 15 seconds. That should reset your computer.

disconnect the ECM wire, disconnect the battery for a couple minutes, hook up the batt, hook up the ECM wire, give it a shot. Code should be gone. If you just arc'ed and sparked for a split second you may be okay. Clear the code and try again.
