I'm looking for the cold air kit that I guess is no longer made (from what I've been reading). I would like the one where it has the longer filter (12" I think?), the enclosed housing for the filter, the tubing, and the front air dam with the slot cut out in it!
Did I describe it right ??
Anyone have a good one they would like to sell........'cause I guess you cannot buy them new anymore.
Thanks in advance, Chris

I believe you are refering to kits made by either Kenne Bell or ATR. There was a recent post in the "Parts for Sale" section that had a pic of the ATR one... HTH

I couldn't find a pic of it anymore 57loboy , but I did see one there recently.
Anyone know what we're talking about? Anyone have one for sale?

I got one for you, well kind of. I sent you a PM

Thanks,

Rich

Got your PM Rich. Send me some pics.
57Loboy.....that's a pic of "most" of it.........but it's missing the most important piece IMHO.....the air damn with the "tunnel" cut out thingy.

Well I've been researching where to find the kit I've described, and it's true....no one sells them new anymore. What IS being sold is the kit that just relocates the filter down behind the driver's side headlight. From what I've read.....this kit lowers temp by 29 degrees........the kit with the "wind tunnel" air damn lowers it an additional 2 degrees.....but the filter is exposed to the elements....so NOT quite as desirable as I originally thought.
I've found a couple reputable vendors that sell the Cold Air kits.......so I guess I'll just go that route and buy brand new.
Feel free to add your comments to this if you have any on your particular Cold Air kit........good or bad. Never hurts to be educated on a subject.:)
