Does anyone have info on an auto insurance company that will insure a GN for what it is worth and not just "fair market value" of an 85 Regal V6???

Mine is my daily driver, so I cannot have mileage restrictions, etc. Any ideas?

James if you actually want to drive the car every day and enjoy it you will be stuck with regular insurance. I can give you the names/phone numbers of 5 or 6 classic companies if you want them, but it won't do you any good if you drive it to work. They strictly do not cover any vehicle that is used for more than an occasional cruise. I have dug and dug and dug for info on insurance because I am taking it with no vaseline and I can't get my rates down. If something happens to it you will have to get in a big pissing contest with your co. but eventually you should get a fair deal. Just keep in mind how much it costs them to argue with you for 6 months. Demand a certain price and stick to it. Hope this helps.

I have Grundy and they are great. Agreed value is what are cars need. The only real stipulation is you need a daily driver other than the insured car. Your gonna need a little beater.

I have State Farm. They have a policy for special interest cars less than 25 years old. There is no limit on the mileage for my car, it is a second car though, and my other cars are insured through them. I had to take it to the main office to let one of the car specialists value it. He got me pretty close to what I think I could sell it for. The rates are about 1/4 of what the monthly rate is for my 2006 Tahoe.

I'll have to check into the ones suggested. I just hate the idea of something happening to the GN and getting $1500 back.
