Comp cams 979 springs

I have the 979s new inthe box or should i go with the 980s ? Stock cam 30k on the originals . Thanks again Robert E.

Ok thanks , alot of vendors kept saying i needed the 980s instead to make any difference.

980's need a lot if shimming to get a decent pressure. I would use them on a stock cam only. Aftermarket cams need more sping.

the 981 's and Sealed Power VS739r are one step above the 980's at 105 pressure install height of 1.7
i'll be changing them out once breakin is complete with the 980's.
