Click to expand... 980's need a lot if shimming to get a decent pressure. I would use them on a stock cam only. Aftermarket cams need more sping.

Sep 28, 2012 #5 F Fast4Ward Well-Known Member Joined Mar 27, 2005 Messages 1,162 the 981 's and Sealed Power VS739r are one step above the 980's at 105 pressure install height of 1.7 i'll be changing them out once breakin is complete with the 980's.
