Car was acting very weird yesterday and was the first time it's done this. Started and ran fine until it got to 0 vacuum going into boost ( I have a 30/30 vac/boost gauge ). When it got to 0 it would act like you pulled the plug on everything. The engine would virtually cut off until you let off of it, and then it would run normal. It didn't throw any codes but I pulled the Extender just to make sure. No codes at all. Put the Extender back in reset the ECM and all was well. Back in boost so to say. But here's where the problem comes in. My BLM's are pretty consistant in the 130-135 range and all has been well. But after this little episode my BLM"S and INT's are locked on 128. No movement at all. I run the 3½" maf with T+ and the knob on the T+ is set to normal idle. When I switch it to lean or rich idle the BLM's don't move off of 128, when in the past they would change immediatly up or down depending on the setting.

So my question is: what has happened? It has never done this before. I've had the T+ and extender set up for almost 4 years and have alot of experience with it. My first thought was that the ECM is going bad since it has quit learning. But what do you think? All help is appreciated!! BTW, fp is set to 45psi line off and mods are in the sig. Again, TIA

If I were diagnosing it I would try to go back to a stock setup (to see what's wrong): Find a good stock MAF and a stock chip and see what the blms do. If they are still 128 pegged, highly suspect the ECM. I know you may not be able to do this, but ideally that's the way to go IMO.

O2 is only a few months old, this one hasn't even seen race fuel yet. I do have a stock chip, but a stock maf...that's why I went to the T+ set back in 2000. It would probably be cheaper to buy a new ECM than parts and time to go back stock. Thanks

My car did the exact same thing because the big chip inside the translator box became unseated. Make sure that the chip is seated properly, reset the computer and try again.
