I bought a turbo 3.8 out of a 78 regal. But engine number (25506397) appears to be a 83. need to confirm that.
It had an automatic and I want to attach it to my jeep T90. I understand this is an even fire and the flywheel has to be externally balanced. Can you tell me what flywheels will fit this engine for manual transmission. I am using a buick 225 bellhousing which seems to fit. and have an adapter already for it to the t90. I was told that if its a 78-80 only those year flywheels will work on it. but if its an 83 I need to know what flywheels will work. I also need to find a ESC for the 78. I understand that year did not have a computor. I couldn't find the one on the car.
