I did a search and got TOO many part numbers for replacement Moog springs. Here the Moog part number chart http://jeffd.50megs.com/Moog_Spring_Page.htm

Got these combo's

5660 (fronts)
CC501 (rears)

5660 (fronts)
5379 (rears)

5606 (fronts)
CC627 (rears)

The 5606 is suppose to be the original replacement for the fronts but could not find a solid part number for the rears. I heard of some cutting off a coil for proper fitting. I want the car to sit in a nice level not too high and not too low and don't want the butt sticking too high also. I know the part numbers with the "CC" is called for cargo coils. Do you need cargo coils in the rears?

Bump since I could use this info also. I have a set of Eibachs to install at am having second thoughts and may go with Moogs. I had all the info last Summer. I'll try to look it up again tonight when I get home if no one has answered by then. Thanks.

Stock replacements are 5606 and 5379.

I use 5660 with stock sway bar out front, and CC627 (I think, can look it up if you want) with a 1.125" aftermarket sway bar in the rear. That plus good shocks made a huge improvement over stock without lowering more than 1/2".

Some prefer a linear rear spring at about 135-140 lbs/in with the stock sway bar. I just wanted the cargo coils and used the slightly bigger sway bar to compensate for the extra body roll associated with CCs.

I did a lot of research. This is a handling setup without getting too radical or lowering the car. It is designed for the streets with their imperfections as opposed to a track.

Keep it comming!

I heard cargo coils are not good or too stiff for drag racing?

I used 5660's in front and I was first thinking they were too stiff but I like them now. I recall I used the cc501 in the rear. They actually start off a touch softer than stock and end up a lot stiffer as they compress. For small bumps in the road the car feels over sprung in the front because the back is soft. Over a bigger bump it feels just right. I want to go with a linear spring in the back when I get around to it.

This is what I got form the Moog catalog.

Fronts 5606
Rears 5379

Cargo coils CC627
