I had my spark plugs done last time at a shop (It was cold outside, and I was lazy).

Well, I went out to do them today, and the Drivers Side spark plug farthest back seems to be cross threaded. I didn't want to tug too hard, I was afraid to break it. I can't get it out, and even if I do I'm worried that I might not be able to put another one back in.

Any ideas?

Lube it excessively. Then try turning it back and forth in 1/8 turns, just working it little by little. Try to make progress loosening it, when it feels like it gives, loosen a little more and keep repeating this. I've removed several bolts this way without breaking off. Probably need to run a thread chaser through it and vacuum out the hole somehow.

when you chase the threads out put grease on the thread chaser so that catches most of the the metal it removes
