Cruise controll

Has anyone had any experence in repairing the cruise controll on their GN's? My car sat for six years and when I brought it back from retirement, my cruise worked fine, but after a month it just quit working. Could someone point me in a general dirction? The drive from Peoria to Bowling Green was way to long to not have it.

First thing I check is the brake switch, vacuum switch AND electrical switch on it for the cruise control.

Sometimes it just comes out of adjustment and is an easy fix.

Next I check the cruise stalk switches for proper operation and if the wiring is good.
