I have a problem with my dash lights. They won't turn on! So when im driving at night, i can't see how fast im going. One weird thing is that the tach and boost led lights go out too, but when the headlights are off, they are on? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Most of the time, what causes it is a blown fuse. What happens is the wire to the light in the shift indicator breaks and shorts out to the metal structure in your console. You have two fuses, one 20 amp (I think) that works your taillights and dash lights and a 5 amp. They both have to be good for your lights to work. Do a search on "Dash Lights" and you'll get a bunch of info on this topic. HTH :)

Nice...thanks a ton. Didn't know if it was more serious than that or not. Nice dyno numbers! As soon as i get my new walboro 340 in (the one in my GN currently is shot), im gonna try and dyno it here in Denver. What boost did you run at that dyno level?

Dumb question. Any chance the dimmer switch for the lights are turned all the way down??

if its not the fuse, its likely the headlight switch. happened to me. if this is the case, you have no brake lights when the headlights are on as well!

I was running about 20 psi with 112 race gas, with no knock. If you need more specific directions on fixing the dash lights, let me know. Take Care

The first thing you need to do is check your fuses. Usually though the dash fuse is also the marker light fuse. If all fuses are OK then remove the dimmer switch. Jump the switch with a home made jumper wire or paper clip. If your dash lights work then you have a bad dimmer switch. Very common problem with bad dimmer switch.
