The replacement o2 sensor from Denso has one wire (PN 234-1001). Where do I plug it in and what do I do with the four wire connector?

where are you seeing a 4 wire plug? Not the IAC Motor right? Your TR should have a single wire running over to the 02 from the drivers side, single wire, single weatherpack plug. Wire is black in color so is the plug. Dont know what 4 wire plug you mean unless maybe your car has a heated 02 kit on it but I dont know what those look like so.

Let me clarify, the old Bosch o2 has three wires, two white, one black. This connects with three prongs to a blue and yellow wire that runs across the driver's side valve cover.

Is this a heated setup is the only thing I can think of?

thats what it sounds like, try

I got rid of it. You just unplug the gray connector unplug the egr solenoid connector, etc. Thanks a lot for the help, saved me a lot of time and confusion!

I am thinking, trace the plug, the one hooked into the cars harness not the 02's harness, back to the point of origin, where it goes back to being 1 single weatherpack and bring that back towards the new 02. Mine runs from drivers side toward pass side across the front of the engine near the thermostat housing. I dont know exactly how to install those but if it is plug n play that would be it. Then you would have to find where the other 2 wires got hooked up and remove them from the system. I would think 1 has to be ground and 1 power to heat the thing and then the original 1 (black) is the signal wire that will stay no matter what. That should be it. They may have cut the original harness too. If so you can buy new weatherpack connections from Caspers Electronics or you could make your own connection. I would go weatherpack though.

Luckily mine wasn't rigged. The original EGR solenoid connector was still there so it went right back in. Thanks again.

I am glad to be rid of my Bosch even if it was heated. It was the only piece of equipment on my car that said FORD on it.
