Hey guys,
I wonder if any of you are using a Denso or NGK 02 sensor instead of AC.
Reason I am asking is that they are half the price...around $17 or 18 each.
I have only used the AC, and have heard that some people had problems with the Bosch.
Later,
James

Bosch are really bad, if your going to get one get the AC or the Denso, I havn't tryed the NGK but i bet it would be ok.

The denso is GREAT for the price, esp for the lead proof design. I think I only paid $12 on sparkplugs.com

I just ordered two via www.sparkplugs.com
They're $17 ea. w/ about $7 for shipping. Still cheaper than you can buy another brand at a Parts Store.
I've put three Bosch's in my car, and knocked all of them out within the 36 miles to the track. They are not worth a dime in my opinion.
I've heard nothing but good things pertaining to the Denso's. I'll hopefully be able to validate that for myself this coming weekend.

i could be wrong but isnt Denso NGKs parent company or vise versa?

Dens all the way

Ive had the same o2 sensor (Denso) in my gn running 116 octane for about 60 runs so far and still working fine.

I just picked up a pair from sparkplugs.com, too. They shorted me one on the shipment but they were cool about it (I think - haven't gotten the other one yet).

Anyhow, I have a Delco one in there now - how do you know when they've gone bad?

Jim

Well check your cross counts and see if they are slow. You will get a SES light when they are totally dead.

i have the denso thats resistant to lead. I've heard a lot of good things from people who run them with leaded fuel. Mine might not ever see lead if i ever get my alky up and working but its nice to know it can handle it if it needs to.

as far as how long that last i don't know, i've put about 500 miles on mine with no problems, but i would expect that from anyone.

I'd buy the denso simply because there cheap and handle lead. if they go bad its not a big loss.

nippon denso sparkplugs

Hi,
Being a diehard, I've been running AC DELCO plugs, but I'm certainly impressed by the feedback you guys have given regarding the 'DENSOS. I use OE on all my tuneups, never get a bitch out of the customers who own asian cars. A little Japanese is probably good for the old Regal! Thanks for the info...
Dale

Too bad asian cars suck and owners dont know the difference between FWD and RWD.

But on another note, i've been running leaded in every tank with good results. They are really good in my opinion, and run just as good as the ACdelco ones for regular gas.

I dont know about those AC delco plugs though, they dont see more then a month in my car. I've been running u-groove for a while now.
