can anyone here tell me how much torque to put on nuts when switching from bolts to studs on rearend diff caps?

Just get them snugged like you would an oil pan or trans pan. Don't want to warp the cover and make it leak. I used a dab of Loctite on 'em(after cleaning everthing REAL well!

sorry

not the bolts that hold the cover---changed the bolts that hold the carrier inside the rearend to studs

I would still torque them the same as the bolts would be.I think it should be around 55 foot pounds.I belive that the studs are just stronger than bolts.
