Zymol is the top wax by consumer reports . I told a freind he bought it...for 12-13 bucks.. and he was blown away.

I notice at advance and auto zone it is around 13 bucks so sounds like u should check your supplier.

Yeh the cheaper Zymol is aviable at auto parts stores. I have the cheap paste stuff. The carbon wax ,I have only seen at high end car stores. Porsch, ferr., BMW ect. The cheapest price I have seen is $38.00 for a small clear cup. From Zymole.

I'd give the nod to Zaino instead. Some people feel that the Carnauba waxes give a better shine, but I've found that Zaino looks just as good and it is much more durable than any Carnauba wax.

Two or three thin coats of Zaino will last you for six months. No Carnauba wax will last that long.

I use it on my GN and have for years...I use the Zymol blue liquid stuff...I 've tried all types of Carnauba waxes including Meguiars and nothing has beat the shine of Zymol on black paint...plus it doesn't leave any residue and is easy to buff off...only downside is that it won't last if the car is exposed to rain...elements...etc...
but my GN never sees water let alone rain...so not a problem...I use it once a year and my original paint looks like a mirror...

(Look at the fine print...)

Just out of curiousity====for my knowledge...........why is this a bad thing?.Many companies make high end and low end products marketed under different names. One example that comes to mind is car stereo--you would be amazed at some of the products alot of guys have in their cars today. If they knew who actually made them----they would faint.

just wondering,

Geoff

Zymol used to be german made high end wax years ago. VERY expensive.. Then Turtle wax bought out Zymol and made low end Zymol (the stuff you see for $13) and kept the high end ($40 up) still to be made in Germany. The cheap Zymol is made by Turtle wax and is good stuff.. Turtle kinda bought the recipe for the cheap Zymol and marketed it..

Never a fan of Turtle wax! But has anybody used the good Zymole?? For instance Carbon wax?? It's the good stuff.

There is Zaino's on that car now,,,you wont get anymore shine out of it.....:)

Dennis was up?? Have enough cars?? What products did you use? Or steps. Also what is up with the high beams on the car?
Talk to you later.:)

The high beam were never hooed up,,what I was going to do was take the wire that sends power to the high beam (at the high beam) and have it power a relay to power the high,,,beams...if you dont like the headlights the way they are I can always swap you for the originals that I have on my shelf in the garage..
car, then I used the polish (2 coats) then the spray quick wash...that spray makes the car feel like silk...
If any one has the proper names for the items I use above please chime in so I dont have to go to the garage;)
