I was trying to knock them out with a punch and hammer, but i couldn't get them to bugde, plus it looks like the top of the pin has a flare on it? any tips to do this job.
Thanks in advance
Its been awhile since I did mine but here's what I seem to recall. First I took the hinges right off the car. Then with the hinge in a vise used a hacksaw to get the top swaged part off. Then I drove out the pins with ... difficulty if I recall correctly. Just under the head of the pin which is upside down there is a serrated almost a spline section that mates with the hinge frame and mine were rusted. Oh BTW watch out for that ugly spring.... its a killer.

I got a pair of used hinges off Mike McKoy that were from a low mileage car and bolted them right in. My door sag went away and it was easier than rebuilding the hinge.
