i am finally putting in the hrpartsnstuff lcas and the atr rear sway bar...so far i have gotton the stock sway bar off and the frame side of the pass lca...now where the other side bolts to the rear axle...i am having a problem getting that bolt out because i can't tap it out because the brake drum is in the way...also can't pry it out or anything...i am gonna try and use a ractchet breaker bar on the bolt head...i think the bolt is just all twisted in the rubber bushing or it's bent or something because i can move the lca up and down very easily and the bolt moves...but i just can't pull it out! and they said this job was supposed to be easy...ha it never is for my car

i still need to do the driver side lca and take that off...hope i have better luck...

i have a question...i noticed on top of the rear end there are two upper control arms...should i replace those as well or should i leave them alone...i was told to do just the lower control arms and atr sway bar and i will be set...what is the purpose of doing the uppers? do i even need to touch those?

You shouldn't have to replace the uppers, but it's a good idea to box them though....

Don-

My car did the SAME exact thing. As it ended up, the bolt was rusted to the metal sleeve inside the bushing. We tried every which way to get it out.... didn't work. We eventually used the "blue wrench" (torch). It's messy though, we melted the crap out of the bushings in the process. Garage got pretty smelly. :D

Good luck.

i got the bolt out...i used a ratchet breaker bar setup and just twisted the bolt until it ripped out of the rubber bushing...then i just pushed it out with a crowbar on the other end...man that thing was a pita! on to the driver side lca!
