Hey Guys,

I have a few questions to ask.......

Can someone tell me if the door strickers on all gn's have spacers on them? I purchased new ones from GM and have 2 spacers that i am not sure if they are needed.

My gn is basically stock with the exception of a free flowing dual exhaust system. I removed the catalytic converter and had a straight pipe made to fit the y pipe. Will this in any way affect the motor. The car runs wonderful. It has more punch and you really hear the turbo. Keep in mind that the car is stock incl...chip, injectors, etcc....
There is no black smoke/ blue smoke and the car is running on 10w30 synthetic motor oil. (Amsoil)

What do you think?

Thank you

Michael

Hey Michael:
I'm pretty sure all the GNs have spacers on the door strikers. Mine has 3 narrow spacers under 1 thick spacer (4 total) on both doors.

Removing the cat converter is not a bad thing other than making it fail many smog tests. You need to dump the stock chip in favor of a more modern chip, such as the Thrasher or TurboTweak.
