Is it possible to convert a manual roll up/non power lock door to a full power door?

A salvage yard employee told me that it is very easy to swap the power window motor and regulator into a manual door. Has anyone done this? I am looking for a passenger door with full power for my T, but all I found is a manual door. Should I keep looking for another door?

Yes,,it can be done..there are riviets that have to be drilled out to change the regulator assy..you can bolt it back in,unless you have acess to a heavy duty pop riviet gun....power locks are a bolt in

I have kind of the same problem. My door was vonverted over before I bought it and the power lock in the pass door is not there. I have already ordered a new actuator but I do not have access to the linkage. Does anybody have this stuff laying around?
