I was just wondering what people think of the Kirban ''3'' Down pipe. I don't see any being used, and if so why. What would be the best down pipe for a mild (12sec) streat car. Terry Houston?

Yup, or perhaps the elusive Mease one. I have both and they work fine. They are different lengths however.

Hollow cat. is a better mod. for a 12 sec. car. ;)

Both the Kirban and the Houston DP's would be a lot better than the stock one, but the THDP is definately the best....however the difference in price between the two makes the Kirban a very attractive alternative.

I have a SS 3" Kirban DP with test tube that was used for only one week (still looks brand new) that I will sell for $150 shipped to anywhere in the US. Complete with all the hardware and instructions. I just got a KMDP and this is why I am selling the Kirban.

the problem with the Kirban downpipe is that it uses the stock elbow which is the main restriction..........you get what you pay for!
