Does anyone run drag shocks on the street? My 86 is primarily a street car that makes an occasional track pass. Are there any downsides to running Competition Engineering Drag shocks on all 4 corners on the street?

The beauty of QA1's IMO is that you can call them Drag shocks and in 1 minute call them Street shocks.

I run the QA1's on my strip setting on the street because all I care about is them not lighting up the tires when I hammer it.

I run KYB shocks on the front of my race car and I run them also on street cars, works fine in both applications.

For rears, I did also use KYB's, but replaced them with Comp. Engr. 50-50 shocks when I went into the tens, mainly because they were worn out.

My 60' times are just as good as comparable G bodies with QA-1 shocks, I prefer to keep it simple, and not spend $$$ if I do not need it.

Do not let that pic below fool you, that was before the HR bar and KYB shocks!
