the 2 stage diy alky kit is complete and all the fine tuning is almost complete.. now I am getting the car ready for the track...My question is.... I got under car to look at where i was going to mount my driveshaft loop... and it looks like this car has sometype of a factory loop..... will this loop pass as a drive shaft loop at the track "for slick use" ?????? thanks........

No way. That thing is stamped sheet metal. Tech wont allow you to run slicks with that thing. I dont know what its original purpose was because it sure wont stop a flying drive shaft!. I got one from ramchargers, it bolts right into that location and wraps all the way around the drive shaft.
