sold a new cam to a buddy that I had dry film coated at Quality Coatings Ltd . board member who is putting the engine together commented that the #1 cam journal seemed to have a high spot on it that maybe related to the dry coating ("when you spin the cam it seems to catch"/yes, he says he tried a different non coated cam and it was fine ). anybody ever have this problem ? I seem to think that the coating may of been put on a little heavy on that journal for what ever reason during the dry film coating process . thanks .
