First, the impedence on the DSM injectors are wrong. You would have to change the drivers in the computer to use them.
Correct on the CC's, 450, that is in the 5 speed turbocharged cars only though.
I build DSM's for a living and have built them for the last 15 years.
Believe me, they are no joke.
Suspension on the car stock works great. Not sure what the talk of upgrading it all is. The 92-99 AWD cars come with a super strong rear end and axles, along with a good trans.
An all wheel drive DSM can be put into the 12's for about $700, that is buying good quality parts and not just dropping the exhaust off the car.
Putting one into the 11's will take about $5,000 and this combination could take the car as fast as 10.90's depending on the driver and luck.
The engine in these cars are completely remarkable. I am running 7.8's at 175 with one in my tube chassis car and the block, head and crank are all stock.
The new Evolution 8 with the same basic engine is even more impressive. I have one that we have been developing parts on. The car has now gone 11.65 at 117.88 mph on the bone stock head, shortblock and turbocharger. Cost of mods to do this not counting the new clutch we put in it is $3995, that is our retail price. This car will outbreak a Z06 Vette and corners the same, cost of the car, $30,000. Seats four comfortably.
