Dual fans install???

I tried to mock up my new dual fans kit I got from gbodyparts and noticed that the side mounting tabs seem to be in the way. What all needs to be done/modified to make this install work and be clean looking as well. If you have pics to send I would greatly appreciate it. TIA

If they're like the Ramchargers fans I got, you'll need to cut or grind off the tabs, then they will fit almost perfectly.

Joe, if you can wait until tomorrow I will take awesome pics for you. I made some awesome brackets. Cut those side tabs off. I would go out now, but you have to get on a 12 ft ladder to reach them and I invision getting stuck up there and having to wake the rents.

"ok here is how I made mine. You know how in desks that have file cabinets that have those bars that hold up the files? Well my desk had like 10 of them so I used of those. http://www.glassblower.info/images/ferritti.jpg Thats what they look like. Then I simply cut and bent the bar to fit into the stock fan location holes. No zipties of force fit here. I drilled a hole into the plastic fan moulding and just attached them there. I will see if I can get a pic."

Pics would be great, thanks! Did you get the regular harness or the hi-low harness? Mine didn't come with a harness, I'm still waiting to get it...should have been here by now I'm ready for the fan to put the IC on and fire this dude up...patience is not one of my better attributes:wink:

Send some pics of your car as well, I'd like to see it. Once I get the T out and about I'll take some recent pics of it...

What's your opinion, I have a bunch of small rock chips on the front clip. I'm debating on taking the car over to my buddy that has a body shop and have him re-shoot the clip....or...should I leave it original

Ok I'll get pics. Well actually, I installed these on Dads GN. So technically its not mine. But I still did it and well I'm pretty proud of them haha. I could take them off and on in about 10 mins. I got caspers harness and it is a very nice piece. However, none of them are high/low...All one speed. I'm doing alright in school, one B which is stupid because I didnt want to take it. Thats what moms are for eh? I'm 16...Can't wait to race the TTA this summer. Now I just have to find time make it everywhere. Had the 63 not started smoking, I would be going for 11.0-11.2 but now with stock turbo....probably 12.2..
